I always believed that the day would come in US education that we must change both
instruction and subject matter to accommodate the nonlinear. The nonlinear has always been with us through stories. Instructional Design (ID) has created a
transformation in the structure in which learning is delivered and attained. My unique position as a Marketing Professor with a Ph.D. in Instructional Design
has led me to modify and change both Marketing and Instructional Design models from linear to nonlinear.
